CONWAY, SC– Conway Medical Center (CMC) Foundation held their Annual Employee Giving Campaign during the month of September, and this year’s theme was “CMC’s Got Heart.” The campaign kicked off on September 4 with a “CMC’s Got Talent” show featuring ten CMC employees performing. The campaign ended four weeks later with over $81,550 being pledged to the CMC Foundation by employees, physicians and volunteers.
CMC employees can give contributions of a one-time gift, a recurring gift or participate in the 60 Minute Club, 30 Minute Club or Dollar a Day Club, which employees give 60 or 30 minutes of their pay or $1 a day each payroll deduction. Those that chose to give could choose from 18 areas of giving or 20 endowments that are currently set up through the Foundation. Some of these areas include; Healthreach, CMC Smart Snacks, mammography initiative, CMC Wellness and Fitness Center, indigent patient care, nursing scholarship fund, palliative care or diabetes initiative.
“Employees at CMC not only give of their time and talent every day to make a difference they also give back through our annual giving campaign. The money pledged by our employees, physicians and volunteers demonstrate their commitment to those we serve,” says Berns Massey, Executive Director of CMC Foundation.
