CONWAY, SC– Conway Medical Center (CMC) Foundation is offering a special way to honor and remember loved ones this holiday season through the Love Lights program.

Love Lights is a way to honor and remember loved ones through the sale of lights that adorn three trees located in the front lobby of CMC.  A donation of $5 for one light, or $20 for five lights, are lit for, “In Memory” of a deceased loved one, “In Honor” of a relative or friend or “In Honor of Service” for an active or retired military individual.  The name of each person honored or memorialized will appear in the Love Lights Remembrance Book displayed next to the trees in the CMC lobby and an acknowledgement card will be sent to the individual honored or to the family of the person memorialized notifying them of the gift.

On Tuesday, November 25 at 5:30 p.m. there will be a tree lighting ceremony in the CMC front lobby and all donors, honorees and guest are invited to attend.  The trees will stay lit and lights may still be purchased through the first of the year.

All funds raised through Love Lights will go towards CMC’s community outreach program, Healthreach.  Healthreach provides services to residents in Horry County that include, the mobile medical van which provides free screenings, CMC Smart Snacks serving 800 children with food on the weekends, Mammography Initiative which pays for mammograms for financially disadvantaged individuals and the Diabetes Initiative a program that provides education and assistance with the management of diabetes.
