CONWAY, SC– Conway Medical Center (CMC) recently announced Paul Richardson, Jr., MD, FACP as Vice President of Clinical Informatics and Utilization.
Dr. Richardson has been in private practice for over 12 of years in Conway with Carolina Internal Medicine. Dr. Richardson is board certified in Internal Medicine. He received his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina, followed by completing his residency and internship at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Currently, Dr. Richardson will complete a Master of Business Administration degree through the Auburn University College of Business in May, 2015. In this newly created role, Dr. Richardson will oversee Case Management functions, as well as, strategically assist and oversee the clinical informatics program to develop and maintain infrastructure that supports innovative and strategic thinking to deliver the safest and highest quality of care to our community. He will also provide Medical Director support for Conway Physicians Group, a multi-specialty group of 17 physician offices affiliated with the hospital.
