CONWAY, SC– Conway Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of a new Spine Center program.  The Spine Center is a comprehensive surgery program and continuum of care for patients who will benefit from surgical intervention for back and neck problems.

The Spine Center is led by fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeons Ekran Alci, MD and William Mills, MD.  From pre-surgery patient education to an easy admission process, state-of-the-art imaging and dedicated surgical suites, The Spine Center was designed and developed to achieve outstanding patient care and outcomes before, during and after surgery.  Focused on relieving pain, improving mobility and helping patients return to more active lives, The Spine Center team works diligently to help patients find peace from spine conditions once and for all.

“While CMC has been performing spine surgeries for many years, this new program creates a customized patient care approach that will cater to each individual to make the process as seamless and comprehensive as possible,” states Ann Vennell, director, orthopedic service line.

Informational seminars will be held monthly, taught by Dr. Alci and Dr. Mills, to give potential patients information and answer any questions they may have on spine surgery options.  The first seminar is January 21 at noon at CMC Administrative Services Building and includes a free light lunch.  To register for a seminar call 843-347-8108.
