Annual Giving Campaign
We are proud to annouce that in 2012 the CMC employees met and exceeded our goal of raising $70,454!!!! The campaign celebrated it's success with a PINK SYTLE Celebration on October 18 in the CMC Cafeteria.
Since the early years of CMC Foundation, employees, vendors and volunteers at Conway Medical Center have taken part in the Annual Employee Giving Campaign. Lasting four weeks in the fall, the Employee Giving Campaign is a time when employees can choose to donate any amount from their paycheck back to the foundation to support the various initiatives, programs and endowments.
With employee support, our HEALTHREACH programs and preventative health care services are now accessible to even the most isolated areas of our community. Funds also assist with our CMC Smart Snacks program offering assistance to school children who qualify for free lunch during the week, but have no nutrition during the weekends or during the summer months. Monies raised also assist our HEALTHREACH mobile van, scholarships for CMC employees and other healthcare initiatives.
Participants can choose from our list of funds and endowments for where they would like their gifts to help.
In 2011 our goal of $65,000 was met and in 2012 the foundation hopes to exceed over $70,000 in contributions from our employees! Employees can donate as little as $1 one time or choose a specific amount to be deducted from their paycheck each month.
This year's theme is "Come Together" and the kick off was held on September 6 in the hospital cafeteria. There was CMC's very own Beatles tribute band and performances from Legends in Conert's Little Richard and Elivis!
