Conway Medical Center is pleased to announce that Blakely Jenkins Roof has joined the Conway Medical Center as Assistant Director of the Foundation and Marketing/Community Relations. She will focus on special projects and events, web design, and marketing efforts. She grew up in Knoxville, TN and is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing.  Before joining CMC, Blakely was employed by the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce for over five years as the Membership and Community Programs Manager and Chamber Liaison for gsSCENE for Young Professionals.  Blakely is a graduate of Leadership Grand Strand Class XXIX and U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute of Organizational Management.  She is an active member of Chicora Rotary and serves on the Board of Directors for Street Reach Ministries.  In May of 2012, Blakely married Conway native Barry Roof and they live in Myrtle Beach.
