CONWAY, SC– Conway Medical Center’s Woman’s Medical Center of Obstetrics & Gynecology will present an informational seminar on the permanent birth control solution, Essure, on Monday, September 17 at 6 p.m. at the Conway Medical Center’s Administrative Services Building Auditorium located at 300 Singleton Ridge Road in Conway.

Essure is an effective, non-reversible, permanent birth control procedure that works with a woman’s body to create a natural barrier against pregnancy. The procedure does not require surgery, hormones or a recovery period and can be performed in the physicians’ offices. The informational session will be presented by Conway Physician’s Group Woman’s Medical Center of Obstetrics & Gynecology Terry B. Levenson, MD, FACOG, Nancy Collins, MD and Jessica P. Lukowski, MD.  Some of the services provided by the Woman's Medical Center include; ultrasounds, family planning, laparoscopic surgery, abnormal pap test management, office hysteroscopy, bladder control, decreased libido, lipid screening and evidence-based menopausal medicine.
