Conway Medical Center has scheduled a Diabetic Health Fair for Thursday, November 8 from 4-6 p.m. at CMC Wellness & Fitness Center located at 2369 Cypress Circle in Conway. 

November is American Diabetes Month and according to the American Diabetes Association, nearly 26 million children and adults in the United States have diabetes, and another 79 million Americans have prediabetes and are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. 

The Diabetic Health Fair will offer free hemoglobin A1-C blood testing, foot screenings, fitness information and nutrition information. Beginning at 5 p.m. there will be a demonstration/tasting of a nutritious diabetic meal.
