The Conway Medical Center Foundation has recently received two gifts in the amount of $50,000 to further the hospital’s mission to offer quality healthcare programs and to improve the overall health of the community.

The Pathology and Laboratory Endowment has been established anonymously with a $25,000 gift to assist Conway Medical Center in providing the highest quality pathological and laboratory services, and the Conway Medical Center Board of Trustees Endowment, also with a $25,000 gift from the trustees, shall be used to promote patient safety within Conway Medical Center.

Leroy Rainbow, chairman of the Conway Medical Center Board of Trustees, states “The Board of Trustees recognizes that patient safety is central to quality health care. We as a board are willing to invest in improving and perfecting the hospital’s safety standards.”

Monies from the endowments will be invested and work in perpetuity to fund various Conway Medical Center programs and outreach initiatives. The CMC Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation established in 1988 as a charitable organization to provide support for Conway Medical Center.
