Conway Medical Center has announced that Angela Williford, JD has been promoted to the newly created position of Chief Risk Officer. As Chief Risk Officer, Williford is responsible for the Performance Improvement, Employee Health/Infection Control and Safety/Security departments of the Medical Center in addition to Risk Management.
Williford received her Bachelor’s degree from Furman University and her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. She has been employed at Conway Medical Center since 1995 as the Risk Manager and prior to that was an Associate with Nexsen Pruet Jacobs & Pollard, LLP in Columbia.
