CMC Foundation Announces New Board Members

March 3, 2008, Conway, SC- The Conway Medical Center Foundation recently appointed new members to serve on the Board of Trustees.
J. Marshall Biddle, President and Founding Member, Biddle Law Firm, P.A. has accepted nomination. Mr. Biddle is a graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and is a member of the Horry County and American Bar Associations; South Carolina Bar.
His community involvement includes: Board of Directors: The Burroughs Company; Waccamaw Youth Center; Coastal Carolina University Chanticleer Club (Vice President); Chairman, Board of Directors: Palmetto Advancement for Learning Motorsports; Member, Coastal Carolina University Board of Visitors, Wall College of Business. Mr. Biddle resides in Conway with his wife Courtney and two children.
Also accepting nomination to the CMC Foundation Board of Trustees is Mr. John Poston. Mr. Poston is the Chief Operations Officer and a Partner with Castles Engineering, Inc. in Myrtle Beach, SC. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and a
B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from Francis Marion College.
His community involvement includes: Member of the Grand Strand Sertoma Club, Horry Georgetown Technical College Industrial Advisory Committee, Horry County Land Development Regulations Committee, Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Horry County, Leadership Grand Strand Alumni (Class XXIII), Horry County Schools Business Cabinet, Grand Strand Technology Council, American Society of Civil Engineers (Past President of Grand Strand Chapter), Grand Strand Chapter of the SC Society of Professional Land Surveyors. Mr. Poston resides in Conway with his wife, Robin, and three children.
The Conway Medical Center Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation established in
1988 as a charitable organization to provide support to Conway Medical Center in its
effort to fulfill its mission and goals. The organization develops cooperation between the hospital staff and board, medical staff, the community and other supporting organizations through educational and promotional activities. Resources for the Foundation derive from fund raising, donations, grants and other sources where appropriate to assure long-term growth and development.
