Dr. James L. Floyd, Jr. received his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and completed his residency in Family Practice at Spartanburg General Hospital in Spartanburg, South Carolina.  A long-time member of the community, Dr. Floyd has treated many families in Horry County.  He has served as the Chief of Medicine at Conway Medical Center as well as served on various medical committees since 1983.  Dr. Floyd also holds a Bachelor of Science in both Pharmacy and Biology.

Appointments

We treat patients by appointment as well as welcome walk-ins. To make an appointment, please call 843.488.2111. New patients are asked to arrive 20 minutes prior to their appointment time to complete necessary registration information and forms. If you are running late or unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible.

Insurance

As a member of the Conway Physicians Group, we accept most major insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid. Please check with your insurance provider or our office to ensure that your care is covered and your out-of-pocket expense is minimized. Patients are responsible for payment of fees for services rendered including deductibles, co-payments or percentages not paid by insurance carriers. We are happy to file your insurance claims for you.
