Childbirth Class – April 12, 2025

Pregnancy is a new and exciting time in your life.  CMC is here to support your growing family and empower you by offering FREE childbirth education classes.  Whether you’re about to be a first-time parent or are looking forward to the latest addition to your family, our comprehensive class will help you and your family prepare for your baby’s delivery and enjoy a more rewarding birth experience.

Instructors from the BirthPlace at CMC will guide you as you learn about pregnancy and prepare for childbirth.  This valuable education will help you understand the process of labor and birth, pain management options, postpartum care, breastfeeding, how to care for your newborn, and much more.  We’re here to answer all your questions and give you the tools to help you trust your inner wisdom and make informed healthcare choices for you and your new baby.

Registration is required

Childbirth classes are held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on scheduled dates.  The class is FREE for expecting mothers and one coach.  Lunch will be provided in our café for participants afterward.  If you have specific dietary requirements, please bring the food and drinks necessary to support those.

Location

This class will be held in the Administrative Services Building auditorium.  It is a 3-story building located on the left side of the hospital.  The auditorium is located on the first floor.  (Please note: The front doors of this building will be locked.  Please enter through a side entrance that goes directly into the auditorium. This entrance is located on the right side of the building which faces the hospital.)
