Amanda Calhoun, FNP completed her undergraduate education at Furman University in Greenville, SC where she earned a bachelor’s degree in health and Exercise Science. She then completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Francis Marion University. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from Frontier University in Hyden, Kentucky.

Mrs. Calhoun is an American Association of Nurse Practitioners board certified family nurse practitioner. She has a surgical background along with a focus on orthopedics, general surgery and gastrointestinal management which serves as an asset for her pediatric patients.

Amanda Calhoun grew up in an Army family which afforded her the opportunity to live various places across the United States and Germany. When away from work, Amanda and her husband, Donnie, keep busy with their two sons. They stay active playing sports, working out and enjoying the outdoors. She was a division I softball player, she and her husband continue to enjoy playing now.
