Amy Riley is an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife with a strong foundation in full-scope midwifery care, including antenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic services. She joins CMC from Harbin Clinic Women’s Center in Cartersville, GA, where she provided care for women throughout the lifespan, managed labor and deliveries, and supported women through family planning and contraceptive management. With over two decades of experience in nursing and women’s health, Amy brings a wealth of knowledge, clinical skill, and leadership to her new role.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Amy earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nurse Midwifery from the University of Cincinnati and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She is certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board and holds additional credentials in electronic fetal monitoring, basic and advanced life support, and neonatal resuscitation. Amy is also a member of AWHONN and has served in leadership and educator roles throughout her career, including as a preceptor, charge nurse, and professional development consultant.
PASSION & CLINICAL INTERESTS
Amy is passionate about midwifery and women’s health, with a particular interest in supporting women through all stages of pregnancy, birth, and beyond. She values patient education, compassionate care, and evidence-based practice. Her clinical interests include labor management, contraception counseling, well-woman care, and managing both low- and high-risk obstetrical patients. Amy is excited to join the CMC Women’s Health team and looks forward to serving the women of our community with personalized, respectful care.
