Ana Paula Morales Allende, MD

Ana Paula Morales Allende, MD,

Vascular Care

Dr. Ana Paula Morales Allende brings exceptional training and a deep passion for transforming lives through vascular surgery to Conway Medical Center's Vascular department. Originally from Argentina and raised in Queens, New York, Dr. Morales Allende brings a multicultural perspective and genuine understanding of diverse patient needs to her practice.

What sets Dr. Morales Allende apart is her early recognition that vascular surgery represents the perfect intersection of technical precision and life-changing patient impact. Her passion ignited during college when she witnessed "bread and butter" vascular procedures like dialysis access creation – seeing patients walk out of the hospital with renewed hope and improved quality of life inspired her to dedicate her career to this specialty.

Dr. Morales Allende's expertise spans the full spectrum of vascular conditions, from complex vascular reconstructions and limb salvage procedures to diabetic vascular complications, peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, aneurysms, and venous disease. Her patients appreciate her meticulous attention to both the technical aspects of surgery and the human element – understanding that each procedure represents someone's opportunity to return to the activities and people they love.

Her extensive research background, including work at prestigious institutions like Harvard and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, ensures she stays current with the latest advances in vascular medicine. With numerous publications and presentations at national conferences, Dr. Morales Allende brings cutting-edge knowledge to every patient interaction.

Dr. Morales Allende's multilingual abilities, speaking fluent Spanish and French, allow her to serve our diverse community more effectively, ensuring clear communication and cultural sensitivity in patient care.

Living in Myrtle Beach, Dr. Morales Allende enjoys an active lifestyle with daily swimming, Pilates, and running. She values family time and understands how vascular conditions can impact your ability to stay active and engaged with loved ones. She is dedicated to being "that person" who helps patients feel better and regain their quality of life through expert vascular care.
