Arthur Tyler Melo Thomas, DO,
Primary Care
Dr. Thomas received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He hopes to build a strong community presence in Horry County while growing his practice in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT). His professional interests include sports medicine, geriatrics, and wound care.
In his personal life, Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with his two dogs — a Jack Russell Chihuahua named Chickee and a Maltese named Matthew. He also enjoys playing a variety of sports, including volleyball, pickleball, and basketball, and hopes to learn golf and surfing. In addition, he enjoys cooking new recipes for family dinners, trying new restaurants, and having movie marathons with friends. He is also determined to learn how to play the piano, crochet, and knit.
Prior to moving to Conway, Dr. Thomas spent meaningful time in Michigan, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Brazil, and throughout Europe, with plans to continue adding more destinations to that list as he grows as a resident physician. Dr. Thomas is excited and grateful for the opportunity to serve the Conway Medical Center family and the members of his community.
