Elizabeth Davis, MD

Elizabeth Davis, MD,

Cardiology

Dr. Elizabeth Davis is a cardiologist dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized cardiovascular care, with a particular interest in women’s heart health and improving care for patients and communities who have historically faced barriers to healthcare. She completed her internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she received extensive training in cardiovascular medicine, including advanced cardiac imaging and diagnostic cardiac catheterization. She values using the right diagnostic approach for each patient while taking the time to explain what the findings mean and how they fit into the bigger picture of their health.

Dr. Davis’ passion for women’s heart health comes from a simple understanding: women are not men, and their hearts should not be treated as though they are. For much of modern medical history, cardiovascular research was conducted primarily in men and the findings were then applied broadly to women. We now understand that cardiovascular disease can look different in women and that the heart and vascular system are influenced by important life stages, including pregnancy and menopause. Dr. Davis believes women deserve cardiovascular care that recognizes these differences and considers the whole patient.

Her research has included high-risk cardiovascular conditions, including STEMI in postpartum women and heart failure management. She has been involved with the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology at local and state levels. She is also passionate about health education, community outreach, and quality improvement. She believes that better cardiovascular care is not limited to what happens in the clinic or hospital—it also means helping people understand their health, recognize risk, and have access to the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about their care.

A proud Southerner, Dr. Davis is excited to be part of the Conway community with her husband and their son. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time at the beach, sailing, and reading. She is passionate about building connections within her community and hopes to use both her medical expertise and her commitment to health education to help improve cardiovascular health in the people and communities she serves.
