Katie Fasen, MSN, FNP-C,
Obstetrics/Gynecology
Women’s Health
Katrina "Katie" Fasen, FNP earned her Master's in Family Nurse Practitioner Studies from Spring Arbor University and her Bachelor's in Nursing from Bemidji State University. Her path to women's health is rooted in years of direct clinical experience – starting as an LPN, then as a registered nurse in labor and delivery, women's and children's health, and clinic settings, before advancing to her current role as a nurse practitioner.
What sets Katie apart is her deep, hands-on understanding of women's health across the lifespan. She's spent years supporting women through labor and delivery, managing postpartum care, and working alongside OB/GYN providers in fast-paced clinical environments. This background gives her real insight into what women need at different stages – whether it's pregnancy planning, gynecologic care, or managing women's health conditions. She's skilled in women's health assessments, patient education, and procedures including IUD insertion, endometrial biopsy, and colposcopy. Her patients appreciate her genuine care, clear communication, and commitment to listening to their concerns.
Katie's clinical approach is grounded in patient-centered care and health promotion. She values teamwork and collaboration, having worked successfully across multiple healthcare systems and care settings. She believes that good women's health care starts with understanding where each patient is in her life – and meeting her there with expertise and compassion.
