Dr. Ruben Vasquez is a urologist practicing at Conway Medical Center with specialized training in robotic and minimally invasive surgery, urinary tract reconstruction, and the diagnosis and treatment of kidney and prostate disease.

Dr. Vasquez earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology-Chemistry, cum laude, from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California, before completing his Doctor of Medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2020. He went on to complete his urology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2025.

His clinical focus areas include robotic-assisted surgery, urologic oncology, urinary tract reconstruction, and the management of complex stone disease. Dr. Vasquez is board eligible through the American Board of Urology and brings a strong academic foundation to his patient care — having presented original research at national conferences and contributed to peer-reviewed publications in journals including Urology, Current Urology Reports, and the Journal of Endourology.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Vasquez is a guitarist, sailor, and certified scuba diver who has trained and performed as an amateur salsa dancer — including at the Los Angeles Salsa Congress. He spent a summer in Colombia pursuing both his diving and dancing passions, and brings that same enthusiasm and commitment to his work with patients.
