Dr. Stephen Brady is a key member of the team at CMC Cardiology. With decades of experience in invasive and non-invasive cardiology, Dr. Brady was chosen to build our new heart attack care program.
After attending Johns Hopkins University for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Brady went on to medical school at the prestigious Cornell University. He completed his internal medicine residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, before completing his Cardiology Fellowship and an additional year of interventional cardiology training at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center.

Dr. Vinod Chaubey is a board-eligible interventional cardiologist. Dr. Chaubey holds board certifications in Cardiovascular Medicine, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He completed his residency at Saint Vincent Hospital – A Major Affiliated Teaching Hospital of the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his fellowship in interventional cardiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School-Bay State Medical Centre. Dr. Chaubey is board eligible in interventional cardiology.

Dr. Cicio, a New York native, graduated with honors from Stony Brook University School of Medicine, on Long Island. He completed his internship and residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital and returned to Stony Brook for his cardiology fellowship. Before coming to CMC, he held various positions including: Director of Hospital Medicine at NYU Winthrop, Medical Director of Nuclear cardiology at Pratt Medical Center, LTD in Virginia and Director of Cardiac Services and Cardiac Rehabilitation at New Milford Hospital in Connecticut. He also developed intraoperative TEE protocol for the new TAVR program at UPMC Williamsport, in Pennsylvania.
He specializes in non-invasive cardiac testing such as nuclear stress testing, transesophageal echocardiography and is now the Medical Director of the Echocardiography Lab here at CMC. He enjoys seeing a wide variety of patients, with cardiac conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and arrhythmias. He also enjoys teaching medical students and residents; and received Teacher of the Year award from the family practice residency program at UPMC Williamsport.
He lives in Conway with his wife and two dogs. He plays guitar, bikes and loves to walk his dogs.

Dr. Ram Penmetsa has an extensive medical background. Growing up in a family surrounded by a variety of different types of doctors, Dr. Penmetsa knew from an early age that he wanted to pursue a career in medicine. He was admitted to medical school at the age of sixteen and decided to pursue cardiology while completing his internship in internal medicine.
Dr. Penmetsa attended Maulana Azad Medical College in New Dehli, India, which is ranked as the #3 medical school in all of India. He completed his residency at Indiana University Medical Center.

Dr. Cuoco completed his undergraduate bachelors and masters degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and Case Western Reserve University, respectively. He then received his combined MD/MBA degree from Georgetown University. He completed his medicine residency and cardiology fellowship in Washington, DC at Georgetown University Hospital / Washington Hospital Center. Finally, he moved to Charleston,SC where he completed his training in the top-ranked Cardiac Electrophysiology program at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Dr. Cuoco specializes in the treatment of abnormal heart rhythms (cardiac arrhythmias), including catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmias. He also implants permanent pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), as well as cardiac resynchronization devices (CRT) for the treatment of heart failure. He is actively involved in numerous clinical research trials and serves as a national and international speaker at academic and educational conferences in the field of Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Cuoco provides both consultative services and device follow-up in Conway at the CPG Waccamaw Cardiology office. He also performs implantation procedures, including pacmakers, ICDs and CRT devices at Conway Medical Center.

Cynthia Hamilton has been a member of the Aynor community with her husband and two children since 1996, providing Rural Health care for all ages at CPG Aynor Family Medicine.
Starting in early 2020, Cynthia joined the CMC Cardiology team. For the first ten years of her healthcare career, she was a nurse in a Cardiac ICU prior to obtaining her Master’s Degree in Nursing and her Nurse Practitioner Certification.
