Aliska Berry, MD,
Primary Care
Dr. Berry graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Science Preprofessional Studies and earned her medical doctorate from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She was born in Washington D.C., raised in Sacramento, California, and studied health sciences abroad at the University of Wollongong in NSW, Australia during college. Dr. Berry practices compassionate care in medicine and service to mankind.
A third-generation physician from a legacy of physicians, dentists, and surgeons, she enjoys managing all aspects of medicine and gained specialized experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and dentistry through her parents at an early age. Dr. Berry is an advocate for mental health and is particularly passionate about improving maternal-fetal outcomes and helping adolescents and young athletes lead healthy lives. She researched vascular health disparities and sarcoidosis at Meharry, breast cancer genetics at Northwestern University, and congenital heart and diaphragmatic defects as an M.D. Postdoctoral Associate in Clinical Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine.
She has demonstrated a commitment to wellness, diversity, and inclusion, coordinating Wellness Committee activities as a Family Medicine resident physician at Conway Medical Center. You’ll find her rooting for the Irish (G’Irish!) on fall football Saturdays, or playing soccer or tennis, traveling, creatively writing, attending Catholic church, going to concerts and listening to vinyl records, and spending quality time with family and friends. Dr. Berry is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and enjoys volunteering her time on service trips when she is not working. Dr. Berry is welcoming of all patients and backgrounds, and is grateful for the opportunity to practice medicine at CMC.
