Dr. Hayek is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Interventional Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Sleep Medicine. He is also a Diplomat of American Board of Obesity Medicine. He holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Advanced Diagnostic Bronchoscopy for successfully completing the AABIP cognitive knowledge and technical skills assessment for mecliastinal staging by EBUS-TBNA and lung lesion sampling by guided bronchoscopy, issued under the authority of the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology.
