Primary Care
Dr. Shim completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and extended his study in Neuroscience as a post-baccalaureate at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine.
He grew up in Northern New Jersey just outside of New York City, where he worked as an EMT and a rescue squad member in the community. He’s been involved in medical mission trips in the United States and abroad, including one in the Amazon. Dr. Shim enjoys working on cars and traveling and is a diehard fan of University of Michigan football.
