Randa Houwari, MD,

Primary Care

Dr. Houwari received both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Saint Joseph. She then graduated from Saint George’s University with a Doctorate of Medicine and a Master's degree in Public Health focused on Preventive Medicine. Her pursuit of medicine was inspired by her time as a pediatric patient battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. As a childhood cancer survivor, she approaches healthcare with an empathetic perspective that minimizes pain.

Before medical school, she worked as a research associate gathering data on cancer screening tests and as a flow cytometry technician in a pathology lab. Dr. Houwari is originally from Connecticut and enjoys fashion, music, dance, theme parks, and cooking. Her medical interests include endocrinology, oncology, and pediatrics. She is the first doctor in her family and is excited to serve the community of Conway as a resident physician.
