Verny Rodriguez, MD,

Dr. Rodriguez is originally from Miami, Florida. He attended medical school at Universidad de Iberoamerica in San Jose, Costa Rica upon achieving a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida State University. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Rodriguez used his business education to start an affordable concierge outpatient clinic in Costa Rica dedicated to Primary and Specialized medicine.

Dr. Rodriguez relocated to central Florida prior to the COVID-19 pandemic to spend more time with his family and pursue specialized post-graduate education. He will attend the University of Virginia, to start his residency in Radiation Oncology once he finishes his transitional year program at Conway Medical Center. Dr. Rodriguez is passionate about learning, being a team player, and making a difference in his community.

Dr. Rodriguez’s academic interests include therapeutic lifestyles, longevity medicine, drug repurposing, and machine learning. In his spare time, he loves doing exercise, reading about history and philosophy, cooking, making music, and salsa dancing. He is thrilled to be part of the team here at CMC.
