Located in the heart of South Carolina’s Grand Strand, our fellowship leverages the region’s diverse athletic landscape to provide extraordinary hands-on learning opportunities. You’ll gain real-world experience covering Coastal Carolina University’s Division I programs, multiple Horry County high schools, and unique coastal sporting events that define our area. From serving as a ringside physician at combat sporting events to providing medical support for professional beach volleyball tournaments through our AVP partnership, the Grand Strand’s year-round sports calendar ensures continuous, varied exposure to challenging and rewarding sports medicine scenarios.
